When feelings begin to develop behind the provocative roles they take on, and their temporary masquerade adventures begin to feel real, Mia will have to decide if she belongs in the life she left because it was all wrong, or in the strange new one that seems worlds away.

Beautiful Fiction and a wonderful read
By Lori
Being an avid reader of mysteries and court drama, I must say this was a delightful change!
Also being an 81 young senior widowed for 21 odd years I must say I enjoyed every page in this book and very sad when I finished it. I thought of recommending it , but to someone my age would be difficult because they would consider it porn whereas I think of it either living life or getting educated. I wish I had read this beautifully written book at a much younger age. Life has changed and now women are not shy about having there needs met and I feel there would be less divorce if life could be acted out and marriage was a playful romance. I hope I can find the next sequel in the library since I have a limit on what I spend on books. I will encourage both my granddaughters to read "dirty rowdy thing". One is newly married and one will be married in Oct. Forgive my rambling but I admit it was a picker-upper in my quiet life and brought back many happy memories! Thank you!

I've been a fan of Christina Lauren pretty much since the beginning
By Jessica McKelden Cave
I've been a fan of Christina Lauren pretty much since the beginning, so I expected to love this book. And I totally did.
It starts out with a completely ridiculous premise: the weekend after graduating from college, three best friends take off for a trip to Vegas, where they meet and marry three best friends. Mia's book launches with this story, one that's funny, awkward, silly, and a little off the wall, but totally lovable.
Mia gets paired up with Ansel, who is perfect for her. This couple is well-matched. He gives her the things that she needs, and in turn, he gets to watch her blossom and grow into the woman she once was. I believed their love from the very first second and I really enjoyed the way their story played out. This storyline has been played with many times before, but these authors took a slightly different spin, sending Mia crashing out of her comfort zone and teaching Ansel what is really important in life.
I was pretty impressed with the storytelling that this book brought to the table. The highlight for me was definitely the characters. These authors write character-driven books with so much personality. I loved our six friends, plus all the secondary characters that showed up along the way. Definitely a must read!

Spoilers!
What's it all about:
Who knew that one night in Vegas could change your life? Well Mia, sure didn’t, because what happened in Vegas was supposed to stay in Vegas right?! Wrong. Now she’s on a plane changing her life around for a man that she married without a second thought, but this marriage ends at the end of summer. Can they both survive that long with the never ending awkwardness that still lingers between them. Follow along beside Mia in her first real adventure in life; all because of a gorgeous french man.
The Best Parts:
I have been wanting to read this novel for a very long time. I saw it in stores, online, everywhere but never bought it. Then one day it went on sale and I thought perfection! I can finally read it. Started it immediately and then stopped it just as fast. The whole first part of the book is a great romantic whirl wind between Mia and her wonderful french man Ansel. The whole story line of them getting married in Vegas and Mia making all of these preparations so that she doesn’t psych herself out made me hopeful of where this novel could go, and then it went down hill fast. There was just too much awkwardness, and then the sex was fine, but not great, and still more awkwardness. Then I have no idea where, but something just clicked back with the characters and I wanted to read it again. Then the big part happened and then it was just BAM! And bomb exploded in your face and the whole thing with Perry got so out of hand, and then you were trying to rack through your brain everything Mia was and omg I’m ranting but it was just so chaotic and amazing all at the same time! The ending definitely made up for everything else in the book, and I loved that there was a happily ever after, but not in a here let my propose again, but just a here we can be together forever, not now, but soon. Perfect ending!
The Worst Parts:
I want to go back to the middle of the book. The part that was difficult to read. I bought this book I the middle of July, and just now finished it at the beginning of September. That is how long I struggle to read the middle. It was all of a sudden they were in France and then just as much as the characters felt awkward so did I. I thought that once they get together for their sex games that it would help spice things up for me as much as it did for them, but that was all that their relationship became about was sex. It was chapter after chapter of sex, nothing actually happened, and for once in my life I didn’t want to read another raunchy sex scene! So I just stopped reading it. Today though I told myself that I was going to finish this book, and I’m so glad that I did. Once all the sex was basically out of there system and actual story came into play, and their lives blossomed before my eyes. It was true perfection.
Final Thoughts:
Even though I loved loved loved the ending to the novel, I can’t give this book anything over a three because I’m sorry, but the middle is so tedious to read, and it shouldn’t take me two months to be able to finish a book that I had been looking so forward to reading. Also, I’m very happy I only paid $1.99 for the book, because I think I would be angry if I paid $7.99 for this book and was this disappointed with it.
